HFD: Let the Layoffs Begin? 2011 edition

First, the HPFFA needs to get professional media managers – some of the things that came out of firefighters mouths were just plain dumb – things you should never say in a negotiation (which is what this situation really is at the moment).  And letting those guys speak was not the best idea – really – saying you will do anything to save your job is dumb.  Really, really dumb. The union really need to consider the strategy a bit.

Second, I am still constrained for another 20 days from fully voicing my opinion, since I am still classified as an active duty firefighter until the 26th of May, so go figure what I think based on the tenor of this post . . .
